I am going to talk about our experience at CleanLaunchPad in first person. But it is going to talk much better the photos we take.
The first (good) impression was in the “casting”. Diana Caputo, Bianca Dragomir and the jury, where really a mixture of professionalism and sympathy. In the room, waiting, we meet Jose Enrique with his project TAU ENGINE, and saw our friends Juan Toribio et. al that lead TEXTIL ENERGY. We meet other interesting projects that were after in the bootcamp.
What about the bootcamp? Good, very good Coaches, in my case I was mentored by Israel Griol, Emilio and Paco Negre, but the masterclass of Chretien Herben was really amazing, and after the “how to convince investors MIT style” that Beth Susanne give us, was another good point to improve our work.
Behind all the work was Israel Griol, Coach, Mentor and much more. He was hard, very hard. My “broken English” needed fluently. Was two years ago when I practiced English in an English environment…
Israel asked us: “have you any customer interested in acquiring your product?” and we were to the South Summit, asking for this answer. Interesting interviews with investors and some secret information that we can not reveal here. We could achieve this because Israel was very focused in Business and we know now, what is our market, our customer, and much more.
The Spanish Final was perfect, in a marvelous place, an ancient cottage reinvented as a museum. And we won the Public Award, and a box of chocolates that was the happiness of my mother. There are no chocolates in the box just now. There are smiles in my face, in my partners (Agustín Falcó and Manuel Quirós) and… in my mother’s face.
